INT. EMPRESS YOLINDA - CATPAW LOUNGE -- DAY (BY SHIPS
               CLOCK)

               Moldred and Charlie are at a table. Ripper, Julie and Sneak
               in lotus posture on the deck looking out the viewport. 

                                   JULIE
                         Wow, that's some story. So Lisa has
                         an evil twin? How did she escape
                         the other future? 

                                   MOLDRED
                         That's why we contacted you.
                         Ripper? 

                                   RIPPER
                         As you said, I got ALL our stuff on
                         board while you and Sneak diverted
                         the Dusans. 

               Ripper pulls a green gem out of her top and tosses it to
               Moldred. He catches it and hands it to Charlie. 

                                   MOLDRED
                         It reappeared in the Museum of
                         Ancient Times in Platinum City when 
                         Celestine was defeated. Cosmic
                         Balance. But then lieutenant Lisa
                         got things out of balance...

               Charlie examines the gem the glow is much fainter. 

                                   CHARLIE TWOCLOUDS 
                         Off Loam the power will fade.

               Ripper, Julie and Sneak head for the buffet. Julie and Sneak
               pick a turkey leg each, hug, whisper and leave. 

                                   SNEAK
                         Moldred, Bofs? Julie and me are
                         hitting the showers. 

                                   JULIE
                         Like old times, but without the
                         audience.



               INT. PAPAL PALACE SHIRLEY AND MERCY'S ROOMS -- DAY

               In a white room with lace curtains, white enameled furniture
               and bed clothes Mercy draws with crayons on the floor.
               Shirley speaks from the bathroom. 

                                   SHIRLEY (O.S.)
                         ...so as usual Pope Dillard
                         Almighty our benefactor and
                         landlord has the flawless copy and
                         ...

               Sound of movement. The toilet FLUSHES, RUNNING WATER, then a
               hand comes out of the bathroom door and tosses something to
               Mercy. 

                                   SHIRLEY
                         Catch. 

               Mercy grabs the much brighter green glowing gem out of the
               air deftly and dives under the bed. 



               UNDER THE BED

               Mercy lifts some wainscoting, pushes and pulls a wall panel
               and takes out a hinged box. She opens it to reveal four
               glowing gems of different colors in four out of seven
               depressions in the velvet lining. She puts the green one in a  
               concavity, closes the box and returns it to it's hiding 
               place.
